Paolo Russo is an architect specializing in high-rise buildings, complex multifunctional projects, and the refurbishment of historic assets, with a focus on adaptive reuse and energy-autonomous buildings.
He founded OFFL in 2025, conceiving the practice with a deeply rooted multidisciplinary approach designed to bridge diverse expertise. Prior to launching OFFL, he worked first as a Project Leader and later as Director at Stefano Boeri Architetti; roles that gave him the opportunity to gain a complete and in-depth experience across the construction sector.
Over the years, he has collaborated with international clients and world-renowned consultants, developing a strong background in sustainable architecture, complex urban transformations, and innovative construction strategies.
He has been invited as a guest lecturer at leading universities and institutions in Europe and the USA, including the Danish Architecture Centre, Share Architects in Bucharest, the Florence Institute of Design International, Forum Holzbau, Rotterdam Academy of Architecture, and the American Institute of Architects (AIA).
His most significant projects include Wonderwoods, a multifunctional tower in Utrecht city center, which won the Best Mixed-Use Project in Europe 2024 at the European Property Awards and the Best Mixed-Use Building 2025 at the MIPIM Awards; Trudo Tower in Eindhoven, winner of the Sustainable Cities and Human Settlements Award 2022 and the Energy Globe Award Netherlands; Pirelli 39 Botanica Tower in Milan’s city center, the result of an international competition won in collaboration with Diller Scofidio + Renfro.
From 2012 to 2016, Paolo worked at One Works, gaining extensive experience in infrastructure projects, including the Pisa Airport Masterplan, the Venice Passenger Airport Terminal, and the extension of Monfalcone Port (Gorizia). He also served as Teaching Assistant at Politecnico di Milano between 2011 and 2018 with Prof. Marialessandra Secchi.

Sofia Paoli is an architect and researcher, specializing in strategic planning, urban forestry, sustainability and resilience strategies, urban policy, and nature-based solutions.
Previously she worked in the Research Division at Stefano Boeri Architetti, gaining comprehensive experience on complex, international urban projects, with a focus on urban greening strategies, green infrastructure, and policy tools for resilient cities.
Her most significant projects include U.I.A. Prato Urban Jungle, Prospective Visions for Greater Geneva: Living in the City-Landscape of the 21st Century, NEOM Regional Land Use, and Planted Roofs and Walls for the City of Riyadh.
She has been invited as a guest lecturer at leading institutions, including Harvard GSD (Core II Landscape Architecture Studio, 2021), presenting on urban forestry, green policy frameworks, and the integration of urban ecology within design practice.
From 2021 to 2024, Sofia was a Research Fellow at Politecnico di Milano (DAStU) for Uforest—the European Alliance on Interdisciplinary Learning and Business Innovation for Urban Forests. The project built cross-sector alliances among universities, businesses, and public administrations, bridging traditionally separate fields such as architecture and planning with forestry and urban ecology to advance innovative urban-forestry education and practice.
Sofia graduated with full marks in Architecture from Politecnico di Milano. Her graduation project received the Best Graduates Award from the Order of Architects of Milan and was a finalist for the Young Talent Architecture Award – EU Mies Award.

Kervin Gianni Candasamy Pillay is an architect and construction project manager with extensive international experience in large-scale infrastructure, mixed-use developments, and residential projects.
His work focuses on the integration of architectural design, technical coordination, and construction management, with particular attention to complex environments and multidisciplinary collaboration. Throughout his career, he has held key roles within major international firms, including One Works, Webuild Group, Stefano Boeri Architetti, and Implenia SA, gaining comprehensive experience across all phases of design and construction. His professional journey has taken him through significant projects in Switzerland, Italy, Qatar, and Mauritius, where he developed strong expertise in project delivery, cost and schedule control, BIM coordination, and site supervision.
He played a central role in the Doha Metro project, contributing from design development through construction and commissioning, and later worked on major urban regeneration and residential projects in Switzerland, such as Central Malley. At Stefano Boeri Architetti, he was involved in the early design and coordination phases of the Wonderwoods tower in Utrecht, contributing to its architectural development and multidisciplinary integration. In parallel, he has independently designed and delivered residential projects in Mauritius, managing them from concept to completion.
Kervin has collaborated with international clients, public authorities, and multidisciplinary consultant teams, building a solid background in complex construction processes, regulatory environments, and large project organizations. During the academic year 2014/2015, he also served as a teaching assistant to Professor Nicolò Privileggio at Politecnico di Milano.
